Roosters star Tedesco and wife welcome first child

NRL superstar James Tedesco has shared some beautiful family news with fans this afternoon.

The Sydney Roosters fullback and his wife Maria, welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, on Thursday.

Tedesco shared the heartwarming news on Instagram, posting a photo of himself holding his newborn son, who they have named Hudson James.

"Couldn't be more in love with our little Hudson James. Mum and bubs are doing amazing. Welcome to the world little man," Tedesco wrote.

The couple's celebrity friends were quick to congratulate the new parents, with many of them taking to the comments section of the post to share their well wishes.

The Roosters also congratulated their star player, posting a photo of Tedesco and his wife on the club's official Twitter account.

"Congratulations to James and Maria on the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Hudson James. We can't wait to meet him!" the club wrote.

Tedesco and Maria have been together for several years and married in 2021.
