Dead by Daylight: The Return of Borrowed Time
A Unique Perk for Prestigious Survivors
Bill Overbeck's Borrowed Time perk is a unique ability that allows survivors to rescue hooked allies and grant them an extra 6-10 seconds of Endurance. This perk has been in the game for a long time, but it recently received a major buff that makes it even more powerful.
Tier I, II, and III
To unlock the Borrowed Time perk for all other characters, players must first prestige Bill Overbeck to Prestige 1, 2, and 3. This will unlock Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III of Borrowed Time, respectively.
Saving Allies with Borrowed Time
When a survivor is hooked, another survivor can use Borrowed Time to rescue them. Once the hooked survivor is rescued, they will receive the Endurance status effect for an additional 6-10 seconds. This gives them time to escape the killer's grasp and make it to safety.
Counteracting Tunneling
Borrowed Time is an excellent way to counteract tunneling, which is when a killer focuses on one survivor and repeatedly hooks them. By using Borrowed Time, survivors can force the killer to switch targets and give the hooked survivor a chance to escape.
Recent Buff
In a recent update, Borrowed Time received a significant buff. The perk's duration was increased from 12 seconds to 15 seconds. This makes it even harder for killers to tunnel and gives survivors more time to escape.
